Greta Kollman, MS, RD, CDN

Greta Kollmann is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Dietitian Nutritionist who is passionate
about helping others create the healthiest versions of themselves. Greta’s goal is to help clients
navigate the nutrition world by learning about healthy eating and by making realistic and
effective changes that can be incorporated into their everyday lives.

Greta received her Masters of Science Degree in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from
Teachers College, Columbia University, where she also completed her Dietetic Internship. While
she was there, Greta was part of a research grant funded by the National Institute of Food and
Agriculture, where she helped to implement and assess the effectiveness of a nutrition and
exercise program on children in elementary schools. After graduating, Greta gained a strong
clinical background from working at Saint Joseph’s Medical Center in Westchester County - a
facility that provided long-term care, inpatient care, and outpatient care for patients at all
stages of life. As a result, she is able to recommend and implement age appropriate medical
nutrition therapy for a variety of conditions including Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease, and
Gastro-Intestinal Disorders for both short-term improvement and long-term management. As
the sole dietitian in the outpatient center, Greta also gained extensive experience with prenatal
nutrition and weight management for children and adolescents.

Greta was inspired to pursue a career in nutrition by her own experience in trying to make
sense of how to be healthy as a young adult. Her unique perspective of how exercise and
nutrition are intertwined to achieve optimal health, combined with her expertise and experience
as a Dietitian allows her to combine science-based recommendations with nutrition counseling
techniques to create an individualized treatment plan that yields lasting results. Ultimately her
goal is to provide nutrition education to clients to help them create healthier habits that last a
lifetime. Greta’s specialties include sports nutrition and helping clients lose and maintain
weight as part of living a healthy lifestyle. Her counseling style focuses on helping clients
create positive behavior changes using a non-diet approach. In particular, Greta focuses on
working with clients to recommend and incorporate simple and effective changes based on
their individual needs in order to help them feel empowered to meet and sustain their health
and wellness goals. Greta’s passion to help people eat well and live their healthiest lives allows
her to provide clients with clear and realistic recommendations whether their focus is improved
athletic performance, weight loss, sustainable eating, or just trying to make healthier choices.

Greta is thrilled to be joining the team of excellent Registered Dietitian Nutritionists at
