Are you newly pregnant and wondering how to eat healthfully?

 

Are you wondering how much weight to gain during your pregnancy?

 

Come to an informative workshop to learn more while enjoying a healty and yummy snack!

 

This workshop is open to anyone who is pregnant or interested in becoming pregnant. Husbands are welcome! 

 

What you will learn: 

 

  • The most important nutrients you need during pregnancy and what foods provide them 

  • How to manage common concerns, like morning sickness, and how good nutrition can help

  • How to create a healthy meal or snack, with hands on practice to create your own onsite!

  • How to determine a healthy weight gain for you specifically 

  • Food safety tips....and much more!

                                                     Restorative Yoga Workshop

 

Where: the 92nd Street Y May Center for Health Fitness and Sport

 

When: Sunday, March 23, 2014 from 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm 

 

Relax, de-stress and recharge during this guided relaxation session.

Begin with gentle movement to prepare for a series of restorative yoga poses designed to promote deep relaxation with the support of props including bolsters, blankets and eye pillows. Experience body scan meditations and breath awareness exercises. Reiki and essential oils are optional enhancements provided during the workshop. This workshop is suitable for all levels of yoga practitioners, including those with no prior yoga experience.
